Despite being a smaller-sized coffee-producing country, El Salvador contains several different unique and distinct sectors.
The Bourbon and Pacas varietals make up approximately 80% of the coffee cultivated in El Salvador. In the northwest border region of Metapán, the highly desirable Pacamara varietal can be found. Pacamara was developed from crossing the Pacas and Maragogype varieties.
