Several microclimates can be found throughout this mountainous region. Development of the coffee is enhanced through the gentle maturation of the fruit within this moist climate.
Even though Panama has not been producing coffee as long as some of the major coffee exporting countries, it has developed into the home of some of the most highly prized coffees in the world.
